If you’re looking to step confidently into the security risk profession or strengthen your operational credibility, this combined pathway offers a clear and practical route forward. By pairing the Physical Security Consultancy Level 4 with the Security Management Consultancy Level 5, you gain both hands-on security knowledge and structured risk management capability.

Throughout the distance learning courses we enable you to achieve a broad and comprehensive understanding of risk management and its associated practices. The goal is to not only significantly improve your skill set and gain a selection of recognised qualifications, but to also develop your practical understanding and widen your future career opportunities. As an example, many of our former students have gone on to secure senior positions within the 'Big Four' consultancies; Energy and Extractives, Aviation, Defence and Media, as well as other leading risk management organisations. At all levels, our SRMC® courses will also equip you with the skills required to consult in a broad range of risk management and business practices.

The PSMC Level 4 course is aimed at professionals seeking to understand physical security management, whether with a view to entering the industry or for risk professionals from other sectors or levels seeking to enhance their understanding of this field. It covers the principles and concepts behind physical security management and their application, what physical security measures are and how they are used.

Following on from the Level 4 PSMC, the SRMC® Level 5 course is primarily designed for security practitioners looking to strengthen their core skills and deepen their understanding of security risk management. It covers a range of practical modules designed to enhance the hands-on abilities of professionals working in the field, preparing them to effectively manage and mitigate risks in various environments.
